Ben Kasyafani Chooses to Work on New Year's Eve, Willing to Skip Vacation for This

The famous presenter Ben Kasyafani brings surprising news regarding his plans at the end of the year 2025. Instead of taking his family on vacation abroad or out of town, this former husband of Marshanda has chosen to remain productive at work.

Ben admitted that his work schedule in December is very packed. In fact, he is confirmed to be hosting an event right on New Year's Eve. He chose to postpone his relaxation time to fulfill his professional responsibilities as a public figure.

"No vacation, I’m working until December. Until New Year's Eve, I still have work, still live on New Year's Eve. Then maybe in January, but there are no plans yet," said Ben Kasyafani in the Epicentrum area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/12/2015).

This choice was made for a reason. Ben revealed that his daughter, Sienna Ameerah Kasyafani, is currently spending her holiday time with her mother. This makes Ben feel more at ease to take on available work schedules.

According to him, the busy work rhythm at the end of the year has become a routine for the past three years. Ben feels that the moments leading up to the New Year are actually when job offers as a host or MC increase drastically.

"Usually it has been like that for the last 3 years, until the New Year I usually work. After the New Year, in January, I take a break, but there are no plans so far," he explained.

Ben jokingly mentioned that one of the reasons he continues to work is economic factors. However, on the other hand, he is indeed the type of person who is used to a full schedule and feels strange if he does not have a busy agenda on significant days.

He admits that he is used to an inverted holiday pattern, where he only rests when others have returned to work. For him, the comfort of working during the New Year moment gives him a unique satisfaction.

"Working close to the New Year actually means more work, because besides the soap opera at that time, I also have hosting duties, and usually, close to the New Year, there are a lot of jobs," he said.

Nevertheless, Ben still plans to take a holiday in January. However, as of now, he has not determined which destination he will go to with his small family.

"People are already back from vacation, just starting their holiday. It has become a habit, I guess," concluded Ben Kasyafani.
