The family of a man named Benedictus Benny Hadi Utomo, who announced the departure of the deceased. Bens passed away on Monday (29/11/2021) at 08.24 WIB at RS Fatmawati, Jakarta.
"With all due respect, we ask for forgiveness for all his mistakes during his lifetime. Without diminishing our gratitude for the attention and respect given, in order to maintain the privacy of the core family and comply with COVID-19 health protocols, we ask the extended family, friends, and relatives to accompany him to his final resting place with prayers from their respective homes," reads a statement from Bens Leo's family.

One of those who lost Bens Leo is fellow music observer and journalist, Adib Hidayat. Adib uploaded a photo of the late on Instagram to announce this sad news.
"Goodbye Mas @bensleo52. We have lost an irreplaceable journalist and music observer in Indonesia. Confirmation from his wife, Mbak Pauline, who sent the news to Teh @riahdradjat at 08:24 AM today."
