Betrand Peto's Dream on His Birthday Makes Ruben Onsu Sad

"On his birthday, Betrand just wants his family to gather, no one is allowed to be absent," Ruben Onsu said when met in Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (20/2).

Betrand Peto's wish on his birthday this time is only to gather with his family and blow the candles together with his father and mother. Betrand's simple request made Ruben sad.

"Well, he still says, 'Brother, your birthday is coming soon, blow the candles with dad and mom', that's what still breaks my heart. So he wants a photo of blowing the candles with dad and mom beside him. He wants to have that photo, put it next to his bed. For my child, he only asks for something as simple as that, but I can give him more than that," he said.

2. Creating a Celebration

Because this is Betrand's first birthday celebrated with Ruben and Sarwendah, Ruben will create an unforgettable celebration for Betrand.

"From what I know, he has never celebrated this birthday before, but for me, I don't see his past, I see his future. I consider this as my child's first birthday, his first year. He may be 15 years old, but he's one year to me. So usually, a one-year-old child has a first stone laying ceremony. So there, I want to create a beautiful impression," he explained.

3. Special Gift

Ruben, Sarwendah, and their daughter Thalia have even prepared a special gift for Betrand. What is it?

"There is a special gift from me, a special one from Wenda, and Thalia also bought a special gift with her own savings. I have asked for permission to take her savings. So the gift she bought is from her own savings. Yes, she chose it herself," concluded Ruben Onsu.
