Kapanlagi.com - Vincent Rompies can be considered as the most spotlighted Indonesian artist at the moment. This is after one of his children was reported to be involved in a bullying case at Binus School Serpong.
After gaining attention on social media, Binus School's Public Relation, Haris Suhendra, finally speaks up on behalf of the school. He confirms that one of the bullies in the school is Vincent Rompies' child.
"Yes (Vincent's child is involved). The summoning process is still ongoing (for the parents)," said Haris when confirmed by CNN Indonesia through a brief message on Monday (19/2/2024).
Haris also explained that all parties involved in the bullying will receive sanctions according to the applicable rules at Binus School. The parties involved have also been summoned.
"So far, in handling the school and becoming a priority for follow-up, we have summoned those involved and are still in the process. (Sanctions) follow the existing school rules," said Haris.
Meanwhile, Kanit PPA Polres Tangerang Selatan Ipda Galih explained the condition of the bullying victim at Binus School Serpong. The victim has undergone a medical examination to check for injuries all over the body.
Through an external examination, Galih mentioned that there were several bruises and burn wounds on the victim's body. But he refused to explain further because the investigators are still waiting for the results of the medical examination.
"Regarding the injuries suffered, we have conducted a medical examination, as a result of the violence committed by more than one perpetrator. There are many bruises on parts of the body, as well as burn wounds caused by contact with a hot object," concluded Ipda Galih to fellow journalists on Monday (19/4/2024).
