When met in Toman, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (30/3), Mimi said that Dorce had been sick for three years. She also revealed that Dorce's adopted children were unable to accompany him when he was sick due to their respective busyness.

As Dorce's niece, Mimi claims that she has been taking care of Dorce since she fell ill three years ago. Mimi mentioned that Dorce often confided in her.
"At that time, the children were not in Jakarta. Rizky was in Surabaya, Fatimah was in Jogja, khadijah was at her in-laws', and Abu Bakar was at school," she continued.

Mimi also firmly stated that Dorce's biological family was always there for her. She strongly denied the rumor that Dorce's family was greedy for wealth.
"They couldn't be with mama all the time. I was the only one there. Mama confided in me because I'm her niece and I live with her. I've been helping my aunt take care of mama for the past 3 years," she said.
"What's clear is that netizens out there who say we don't exist, that's not true. We're always there for mama. Before she received a lot of help, and after that, all the donations were held by her adopted children. They held all the money, but it was us who took care of mama at that time. But the family didn't know anything about it. So don't say we're greedy for wealth, you're wrong. In fact, we don't hold anything here, even though we have the right to," she concluded.
Dorce's biological sister, Elita, who is also the mother of Mimi, as well as Mimi's husband and Nana, Dorce's nephew from Medan, claimed to be emotional because Dorce's adopted children have not communicated well with them.
"We have been trying to talk to them nicely, but there has been no response at all. We tried calling them, visiting their house, but they were never there. They gave excuses and didn't reply to our messages, they even blocked us. It seems like there is no good intention from the adopted children to have a family discussion," said Mimi.
It is known that the sad moment of the Dorce family's conflict was revealed in a recent YouTube video by Surya Citra Televisi. The adopted children of Dorce were already at the multi-talented artist's grave.
They were seen praying and scattering flowers on the grave, and later, Dorce Gamalama's nephew and sister arrived there.
