Black Box Soon Becomes Key Witness Unveiling the Mystery of the Cause of Vanessa Angel and Bibi Andriansyah's Accident

This happened because the police are waiting for the examination process of the black box from the car. The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Dakar SUV unit, which was ridden by the victims, does have a black box feature similar to those found on airplanes.

As reported by pikiran-rakyat.com, the Head of Traffic Police of Jombang Police, AKP Rudi Purwanto, explained that the black box feature in the victims' car is capable of recording data 5 seconds before the collision occurred.

The vehicle's speed before the collision and the percentage of the driver pressing the gas pedal can also be accurately measured from the black box data.

1. Still Conducting Black Box Research

Facts reveal that even the wreckage of the vehicle can be explained in detail through the data recorded by the black box, even after the collision caused it to flip in the opposite direction.

Currently, Mitsubishi is still conducting research on the black box in Japan. Expert testimony from Mitsubishi will be monitored by the police to clarify the investigation process they are conducting.

As known, this fatal accident resulted in two injured victims and two fatalities, namely Vanessa Angel and her husband, Bibi Ardiansyah. So far, the police have identified the driver of the vehicle, Tubagus Muhammad Joddy, as the sole suspect.

The suspect interrogation process is almost complete. The police have also examined 10 witness testimonies. In the near future, this case will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office.
