Both Absent, First Divorce Hearing of Alvin Faiz and Larissa Chou Postponed

Kapanlagi.com - The first divorce trial of Alvin Faiz and Larissa Chou was held today, Wednesday (2/6). However, unfortunately, the scheduled trial in the morning has not been carried out because both parties have not attended the Religious Court of Cibinong, West Java, until the afternoon.

"Indeed, today is Wednesday, June 2, 2021. However, the defendant and the plaintiff have not attended," said Qomaru Zaman, the Public Relations Officer of the Religious Court of Cibinong.

The Cibinong Religious Court has not received any news from both parties regarding the reason for their absence.

"Today's starting time has not been determined because they have not arrived. It depends on the decision of the judges whether to postpone or not. So far, there has been no specific reason," said Qomaru Zaman.

2. Postponed Hearing

After waiting until the evening, the Panel of Judges, Drs. H. Shonhaji MH, decided to postpone the hearing until June 9, 2021, as the plaintiff and defendant were absent.

"Today's hearing is on behalf of Larissa Gunawan, daughter of Rudi Gunawan, as the plaintiff against Muhammad Alvin Faiz, son of H. Muhammad Arifin Ilham, as the defendant. As the plaintiff and defendant have been summoned today, the summons are valid as they have been signed by both parties," explained H. Shonhaji MH.

"However, until now, it is already five minutes to three o'clock, and neither the plaintiff nor the defendant is present. Therefore, we will postpone the next hearing until June 9, 2021," he concluded.
