Breech Baby Position, Tengku Dewi Putri Gives Birth by Cesarean Section

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Andrew Andika and his wife, Tengku Dewi Putri, are currently happy. After 4 years of waiting, the couple, who got married on April 8, 2017, were finally blessed with a baby boy named Eshan Rayn Fischer. Dewi Putri gave birth by cesarean section at RSIA Bunda Menteng in Central Jakarta on Wednesday (14/4/2021).

"The delivery process was yesterday on Wednesday at 9 am through a cesarean section. Alhamdulillah, he is healthy, weighing 3.7 kg with a height of 51 cm," said Andrew Andika at RSIA RSIA Bunda Menteng in Central Jakarta on Friday (14/4/2021).

"His name is Eshan Rayn Fischer. It means the door to heaven, Rayn can be because he was born during the fasting month, the month of Ramadan, hoping to be a pious child, one who comforts his parents' hearts. A child who makes his parents proud. We took his name from Islam," added Dewi Putri.

1. Not Wanting Caesar

Dewi Putri said that giving birth by caesarean section was not her own desire. However, it was because the position of the baby in the womb was breech. From there, Dewi Putri finally decided to give birth by caesarean section.

"From a medical perspective, it was not possible for me to give birth normally because the position of the baby was breech. So, we waited for 9 months but the position remained breech, with the legs under the head. So we decided to have a caesarean section," said Dewi Putri.

2. Smooth

The caesarean section process went smoothly. As soon as the baby came out, Andrew, who was allowed to accompany his wife during the operation, immediately cried.

"We entered at around 8:30 and it finished around 10. It was quite an experience entering the operating room, witnessing the caesarean operation, and I was also allowed to enter. It was really exciting and tense. When we heard the baby being born and crying, we also cried," Andrew concluded.
