Bringing Soap Operas to Streaming Services, SinemArt Presents the Love Story of Rani and Ilham in 'MY LOVE MY ENEMY'

Kapanlagi.com - Following the development of the times, SinemArt collaborates with Vidio streaming service to present a new concept for fans of Indonesian soap operas. Titled Vidio Sinetron, they produce soap opera titles exclusively for the digital platform.

The first release is a soap opera titled MY LOVE MY ENEMY by Rizal Basri. What sets it apart from TV soap operas is that the story is more condensed, well-conceptualized, and only consists of 28 episodes.

"The story of MY LOVE MY ENEMY is specifically prepared for streaming, in this case, Vidio. The episodes are already locked at 28, so viewers can know when it will end. Unlike regular soap operas where you don't know when it will finish," said Dani Sapawie, co-producer from SinemArt in a virtual conference on Thursday (11/11).

1. Three Days for One Episode

Because the story is already conceptualized to only have 28 episodes, the production period is not too long, which is a total of three months. For one episode, it takes three days of shooting.

"Because there are only 28 episodes, we already know how long to schedule the shooting. Usually, soap operas shoot one episode in one day, but for this one, it takes three days for one episode," continued Dani Sapawie.

MY LOVE MY ENEMY will start airing on November 13 at 8:00 PM WIB on the Vidio streaming service. It highlights a love-hate relationship set in high school between Rani and Ilham, played by Megan Domani and Farhan Rasyid.

In this romantic love story, Rani (Megan) and Ilham (Farhan) will accidentally meet and continue to conflict. Starting from hatred, their feelings slowly turn into love.
