Bugi Ramadhana's Bugi Early Story from a Band Child to Unemployed

Bugi Ramadhana, the husband of Andhara Early, tells his story from being a band child to becoming unemployed. Although he used to be a band child, apparently the band was not a source of income for him and his family.

Bugi initially was the drummer of the band Phantom, which was popular in the 2010s with the hit songs Kasmaran and Pantaskah. Since his music career began to decline, he decided to work in sales.

However, he made a career change to become an office worker. Through Melaney Ricardo's YouTube channel, Bugi said that entering the corporate world was a first-time experience for him. "I just tried what it's like to work, even though my college life was a mess, I just wanted to do music," Bugi said.

"After realizing that the income from music wasn't good, already having a family, and being encouraged by Early, I had to do it, learn, whether I like it or not, just find money," he continued.

For Andhara Early, she doesn't mind the amount, as long as her husband tries to enter the workforce. However, Bugi admitted that the corporate world is quite challenging for him, who has a passion for music.

1. Deciding to Resign During COVID-19

Admitting to feeling pressured, Bugi decided to resign during the COVID-19 pandemic. He admitted that he couldn't handle the pressure of working at that time, which affected his relationship with his family.

"Resign because of work pressure, plus having to WFH during the pandemic. It's even worse because sales need to meet with clients, and if they don't meet, the bonding is not good," he said.

"Not to mention the constant target pressure, we have to constantly come up with ideas and innovations for sales. In the end, it's not conducive, and the office problems end up being brought home," he added.

This situation made him frequently angry towards his family members, including his children and Andhara Early.

2. Asking for Permission to Resign

Due to the various pressures he felt, Bugi considered resigning and asked for Andhara's permission to leave his job.

Andhara Early expressed that she was annoyed with her husband's behavior but eventually allowed him to resign. In fact, she wrote his resignation letter herself. "Finally, because I was so annoyed, I typed the resignation letter myself. I said, 'put it in an email, save it in the drafts. You just need to send it,'" concluded Andhara Early.
