The development plan was first uploaded by Hamza Tamimy. He is currently in Uganda to determine the location of the mosque.

The location of the mosque is in Africa, specifically in the village of Raubarangga, Uganda.

"Assalamualaikum, kak Igun. Alhamdulillah now we have found a place for the location of the Indonesian mosque, this location is in ruabarangga, western Uganda which can accommodate 400 to 500 worshipers," said Hamza.

"This is a quite large mosque, because usually the mosques built here can only accommodate 150 to 200 people, but this one is almost twice as much," he continued.

Currently, the construction process is still in the early stages, namely tree felling and land clearing.

Hamza himself also expressed his gratitude to Ivan Gunawan who has set aside his income to build a mosque in Uganda.

"I really didn't expect that this trip would be fully supported by @ivan_gunawan, from the repost, fund transfer that made me and @yudhanurzahra grateful and teary-eyed, and immediately asked for the construction of a mosque with the name Masjid Indonesia," wrote Hamza.
