In a recent auction event, Dita mentioned that it wasn't actually the kebaya that she wanted to donate.

"Initially, I wanted to auction books, but the BenihBaik.com team suggested that I auction an item that has a story and memories," said Dita Soedarjo as quoted from Liputan6.com.

1. Choose Engagement Kebaya

Among the items that have stories in their lives, Dita then decided to let go of her engagement kebaya. The choice was made because she learned that life must continue.

"Of all the items that hold stories and memories, only the dress and batik skirt that I used for the engagement, which I am ready to auction. Why did I choose this? Because it teaches us about letting go in life. But all the processes that have been gone through are good for us and everything has its own wisdom," she explained.

Dita Soedarjo donated the items she auctioned starting from Rp 10 million. In addition to the kebaya and batik skirt, she also sold a black dress and stiletto with the brand Sergio Rossi.

2. Helping Brokenhearted People

Later on, the proceeds from the auction of these items will be donated by Dita to help people who have experienced heartbreak.

"The proceeds from this auction will be donated for one-on-one intensive counseling with a psychologist for teenage girls in need. Maybe for some of us, heartbreak is not a serious matter, but there are many people out there who need professional support to heal their wounds. Including young girls who have just experienced it," she emphasized.
