Canceled Hajj Trip Despite Boarding Plane, Baim Wong: Must Be Sad

When asked about it, Baim Wong did not want to talk much. He was afraid of misunderstandings if he spoke alone without being accompanied by the travel agency.

"Actually, just wait, I and the travel agency will confirm it later, I'm afraid of misunderstandings," said Baim Wong at his residence in Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, on Thursday (8/7/2023).

Still according to Baim Wong, the reason he canceled his Hajj trip was also related to his wife's health condition.

"There are also health problems, that's why Gigi (Nagita Slavina) is visiting Paula," said Baim Wong.

2. Cannot Confirm Canceled Hajj Trip

However, Baim cannot confirm that he has canceled his Hajj trip this year. Because anything can happen. He also quoted the phrase "Hajj is the call of Allah".

"I don't know yet because I might still be able to go this year. I already have an invitation for next year. But this year, I had to go back, if last year I was already boasting, but everything is the call of Allah. If I go on the Hajj and everything is proven, then I go. If not, then not yet. Maybe next year if I live long enough. If I go now, then I go," he said.

3. Waiting for Certainty

Baim is still waiting for certainty from the travel agency. If it is God's will, he will be able to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this year and depart before June 20th.

"I am still waiting for certainty about the departure date. All I know is that it will be before the 20th," he said.

4. Still Sad

When asked about the sequence of events, Baim did not want to speak about it yet. What is certain is that he is still sad about the incident.

"We'll talk about it later. I have already boarded the plane. Yes, of course I am sad," he said.
