Alice Norin is currently undergoing treatment for sarcoma cancer that has attacked her. She underwent surgery in Singapore on February 7th after exploring several treatment options.
Through her Instagram account, Alice revealed that she was already aware of the possibility of getting cancer because her late mother passed away from the same disease. However, she never expected to be affected by cancer at such a young age.
Alice Norin already knew she had cancer in 2023. She then underwent treatment in Singapore and on December 18th, she had a follow-up appointment to read the results of the MRI and PET Scan.
Based on the PET Scan and MRI results, Alice's treating doctor stated that the likelihood of her cancer being malignant is below 50 percent. However, the final results can only be seen after the mass in her abdomen is removed and further tests are conducted.
The doctor provided 2 options for the surgery, either a small incision or a large one like a caesarean section. However, considering Alice's condition, the doctor recommended a caesarean-like surgery to avoid any risk of spreading.
Alice resigned herself, as there was no other choice but to undergo the surgery. However, from the conversation with the doctor, she gained a comparison of which action would be taken.
Alice also revealed that she had been alert for a long time because her mother died of cancer. When she went to the doctor, she was asked if she had a history of cancer, and Alice answered from her mother.
Before deciding on surgery, Alice tried to find several options. The previous doctor asked her to undergo surgery without undergoing a PET Scan and MRI, and the method of surgery was different.
After consulting with a doctor in Singapore, Alice decided to undergo treatment there, and she had surgery on February 7th.
Alice also took a vacation on the doctor's advice, but she couldn't get too tired. After the surgery, Alice will undergo treatment for the cancer she is suffering from. Get well soon!
