Catzy Hits Soundrenaline 2025, Nervous First Time Performing in Jakarta

The band from Pekalongan, bringing fresh energy, dazzled music lovers packed in the M Bloc Live House with their highly energetic stage performance.

Catzy's presence, led by Shofia (vocals), Maruf (guitar), Syauqi (bass), and Hakim (drums) at this legendary music festival felt very special. This moment marked the first time the band had the golden opportunity to showcase their talent in front of the Jakarta audience.

1. Catzy Chooses Nervous as the Opening Song

As if wanting to show their honest feelings to the audience, Catzy chose the song titled 'Nervous' as the opening for their performance that night. The title of the song seems to perfectly represent the mood of the members who felt both tense and excited to be selected as part of the lineup for a festival as big as Soundrenaline.

"Hello friends, good evening, let me introduce ourselves, we are Catzy, we are from Pekalongan. This is our first time performing in Jakarta and directly at Soundre, it’s crazy," said Shofia from the stage greeting the audience.

"Today I’m really Nervous, just like the title of Catzy's song earlier, the title is 'Nervous'," she added.

2. Catzy Makes the Atmosphere Even Hotter

After the atmosphere started to warm up, Catzy continued to heat up the stage by performing 'Kill 'Em All' and 'Hell'O' in turn. Although the members admitted to feeling nervous, the musical harmony they presented remained well-maintained and successfully invited the audience present to join in dancing along.

"Honestly, this is one of Catzy's big stages. Feeling nervous is normal. It’s part of our daily life when we’re on stage, we get nervous," said Maruf the guitarist.

"But the vibes are nice, the stage is nice. We are very proud especially since we come from a far city, Pekalongan. Thank you to everyone who is here. Awesome, awesome," he added.

3. Catzy Also Performed Utara and Back To Home

The excitement didn't stop there, Catzy once again rocked the stage with the songs Utara and Back To Home, which were met with thunderous applause. As a closing to their impressive stage performance series, the song titled Bad Better was perfectly sung as the finale of their appearance.

The Soundrenaline 2025 festival itself is the closing event of a tour series in five cities, carrying the concept 'Sana Sini' spread across Istora District, ASEAN District, and Blok M District.
