Causes of Ashraf's Death According to Cousin, Not Because of Crossfit But Because of Lack of Sleep and Rest

1. Ashraf Lack of Rest

Unlike most people, BCL's cousin, Ivan Permana, said that the cause of Ashraf's death was not because of crossfit, but because of a lack of rest.

"The problem here is not the sport, not the crossfit, not at all. The problem here is, in my opinion, Ashraf didn't sleep. Someone who hasn't slept, lacks rest, and then exercises with heavy weights. So, he exercised at the wrong timing. That became a time bomb," said Ivan as quoted from Cumicumi, Friday (21/2).

2. Not a Teenager Anymore

Ivan also said, especially at Ashraf's age, which is no longer young, it is very important to balance rest and exercise.

"Maybe it's also because he's not a teenager anymore, not 19-20 years old, he's already 40 years old. Maybe that's also the cause. In my opinion, it's completely wrong if people say 'oh, it's because of crossfit' no, it's not like that," he explained.

3. Anything Excessive is Not Good

According to Ivan himself, what happened to Ashraf Sinclair was a time bomb and became a boomerang that eventually attacked himself.

"Anything excessive is not good. Exercise is healthy, but if it's excessive, the timing is not right, we don't rest, it becomes a boomerang," he said.
