Monday, November 11, 2024, became a special moment for Denise Chariesta who celebrated her son, Jaden Bowen's first birthday. The event was held at their residence in the Kemang Timur area, South Jakarta. Although festive, the event was slightly hindered by unfavorable weather due to rain.
Denise initially carried an outdoor theme with a farm concept, complete with adorable decorations. However, the rain suddenly poured over the area, forcing most of the event to be moved indoors.
"Thank God, the event actually went smoothly. The only sad part was the rain. If it hadn't rained, it would have been even more festive," said Denise, a bit disappointed but still grateful.
Although the weather posed some challenges, the celebration went on with great joy. Denise invited dozens of children from the orphanage to join in celebrating Jaden's birthday, complete with various entertainment such as games and magic shows. "So that Jaden can play with the orphanage kids too, to have more friends," Denise revealed.
Denise also wanted to make this celebration a moment of sharing. The woman affectionately called Cadel and Jaden even gave bicycles to three lucky children from the orphanage. "Giving away bicycles, sharing food, and sharing joy as well," explained Denise, who admitted she wanted to teach kindness to Jaden from an early age.
Denise looked enthusiastic when talking about the life lessons she wanted to instill in her child. “Let Jaden learn to be grateful and know how to share from an early age. It’s important to teach kindness,” she said.
According to her, this birthday celebration is not just a ceremonial event, but also a means to instill positive values in Jaden. When asked about the amount spent on this event, Denise chose not to share the details.
For her, this is not an important matter to convey, especially in front of Jaden. “As for the budget, just pray for the best, okay? Now I have to set a good example with my words for Jaden,” Denise said with a smile.
With this party concept and sharing activities, Denise hopes that Jaden can grow up to be a sensitive and caring child. “I hope Jaden is happier, more grateful, and makes many friends,” she added.
Denise also expressed her hope that in the coming years, Jaden can continue to celebrate his birthday in a fun and meaningful way. “As long as we can share and spread happiness, that’s the most important thing,” she concluded.
