Celine Evangelista's Children's Reaction to Their Mother's Hijab Made Her Realize and Feel Ashamed When Taking It Off

Celine Evangelista shared the story of her spiritual journey after deciding to wear the hijab. She admitted that previously, she was still in the process of putting on and taking off the hijab while adjusting to it.

Now, Celine appears confident with her closed appearance and feels more at peace in living her new life. She also mentioned that her children have become accustomed to seeing their mother in a hijab.

In fact, when she temporarily took off her hijab, Koa, her son, immediately responded. Celine said her son's reaction touched her.

"When I wasn't wearing the hijab, he actually said this. Maybe because he is used to seeing me in a hijab. He said, 'Mom, don't wear the hijab.' Then he felt shy because he could see my hair," said Celine Evangelista.

Celine also admitted that she once teased her children by wearing her old, more revealing clothes, just to see how they would react. However, her children actually forbade their mother from wearing her old outfits.

"I also once teased my child when I was at home with my old clothes that I still wore. I put on red lipstick and curled my hair. Then I wore revealing clothes in front of my child, and they covered their face saying they were embarrassed and told me not to wear that," she explained.

According to Celine, her children's attitudes appeared naturally without needing to be taught. She believes that a sense of shame and modesty has become an inherent part of her children's character.

The honest reaction of her children made Celine reflect. She admitted to realizing and feeling ashamed of herself because of her child's supportive response to her wearing a hijab.
