Kapanlagi.com - Twenty years is certainly not a short time for Charly Van Houten to color the Indonesian music industry. Therefore, to commemorate two decades of his journey, Charly is holding an Asia Tour concert.
The concert is scheduled to be held in five major cities in Malaysia. Supported by Network SDN BHD, one of the Event Organizers (EO), Charly is also collaborating with Setia Band, and several musicians, including his son Restu, are also involved.
"Because yesterday we used the theme of 20 Years of Charly's Work, but there was a ST12 reunion. The concert is indeed Charly, Pepeng, and Setia Band with a reunion," said Charly in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (6/7).
"Now this is a pure 20-year concert with Setia Band, with different supporters. But each city has a different concept," he continued.

Charly also explained that this 20 Years of Work concert is a continuation of the success of two concerts that have been held some time ago in Malaysia and Singapore. In addition to Malaysia, Charly will also visit several countries and the concert will end in Indonesia.
"The first time we held it abroad, when launching 20 Years of Charly's work, we held a concert in Kuala Lumpur at Axiata, Malaysia and the second one in Singapore. Tomorrow we will also be present in Pineng and in several other countries, and then continue to Indonesia," he said.

In addition, during two decades of working in the music industry in the homeland, it is certainly not easy for Charly to continue to exist. However, with the support of close people, he hopes to continue working honestly and with totality.
"The hope is definitely to work honestly, work with totality, present the best works, not just any, and help the Indonesian music industry to be able to respect each other," he concluded.
