Cherly Juno recently shared her personal story regarding her weight journey that once reached 85 kilograms. Through a post on her personal Instagram, she admitted that this period was one of the toughest phases in her life as she had to face feelings of insecurity and negative comments from others.
Cherly recounted that when her weight touched 85 kg, she experienced many unpleasant feelings. The feeling of insecurity and embarrassment to meet people became something she often experienced.
"Once, I was at 85KG and it felt UNPLEASANT. Insecure, embarrassed to meet people, and I often heard all sorts of insults, from jokes to serious comments. But believe me," she wrote in a personal Instagram post on Wednesday (15/4).
Not only that, she also highlighted how the way others remind about weight can sometimes feel painful.
According to her, not everyone can accept criticism if it is delivered in a harsh manner or accompanied by insults.
"If reminded in a harsh way, not everyone can respond positively. So there’s no need for insults, especially with words like B*astard," Cherly explained.
"Actually, FAT PEOPLE need a place to share, need to know the right patterns, so we have to SUPPORT each other. Sooner or later, people who love themselves will realize it. I hope all of you who see this content go through the same process, okay," she continued.
At the end of her message, Cherly also opened up space for her followers to share stories about similar experiences. She hopes that through the comment section, they can motivate each other.
