Aji Darmaji is facing a challenging time as a single father of four children. The man, affectionately called Bang Idung, revealed the health condition of his second child, Al Fatih, who is currently suffering from a high fever. The situation becomes even more heartbreaking as the child continuously calls for his mother, Mpok Alpa, who passed away in August 2025.

This incident was shared by Aji Darmaji when he was met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Thursday (1/8/2026). He came to attend a hearing regarding the guardianship application and the determination of heirs for his children, aiming to legalize his children's documents while also refuting rumors of inheritance disputes that had circulated in the community. Amidst these legal matters, his child's condition became the main focus.

According to Aji Darmaji, the fever experienced by Al Fatih makes the child appear very weak. In a state of high temperature, Al Fatih shows a deep longing for his mother. This situation makes the atmosphere at home feel even quieter and full of emotion.

"Right now Al Fatih is sick, Al Fatih keeps calling his Mama's name," said Aji Darmaji when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Thursday (8/1).

As a father, Aji Darmaji admitted that his heart trembled when he heard his child calling Mpok Alpa's name. He did not deny that the feeling of loss is still very much felt, both for himself and his children.

"His body is hot, calling his Mama's name, 'Mami, Mami.' My heart just went, just like that," said Aji.

Not only Al Fatih, Aji Darmaji's twin children, Raffi Ahmad Darmadina and Rafa Ahmad Darmadina, also experienced sickness. Both were known to have just been ill due to teething, which made Aji's household situation even more challenging.

Taking care of four children alone without the presence of Mpok Alpa makes Aji Darmaji have to play dual roles. He is not only a father but also replaces the role of a mother in his children's daily lives.

Although it is heavy, Aji Darmaji tries to go through everything sincerely. He holds on to the message from the late Mpok Alpa to remain strong and responsible for their children.

"Is it heavy? Oh very. Very heavy. Because I have to take on two roles, replacing the role of the deceased, the role of a father, this is what I am going through now, but I am happy," he said.
