The Chinese drama I Live in Your Time tells the story of Shen Qianzhan and Ji Qinghe, who are reunited after five years apart. Their first meeting occurs on a snowy night in Mohe, a memorable moment that never had the chance to develop into a full relationship.
Now, Shen Qianzhan works as a successful film producer but harbors hidden anxieties. He has a habit of setting his clock ten minutes ahead as a way to cope with life's pressures.
Meanwhile, Ji Qinghe is a clock restoration expert at the Palace Museum, calm and dedicated. Through a film project themed around time restoration, the two gradually come to understand each other and heal past wounds in the Chinese drama I Live in Your Time.

One of the strengths of the Chinese drama I Live in Your Time lies in its unusual professional background. Ji Qinghe is portrayed as a professional clock restorer who practices watch repair techniques as part of intangible cultural heritage.
This production even features a special technical consultant to ensure that the details of the restoration scenes appear authentic. Viewers will be shown processes such as hair spring adjustments to detailed antique clock repairs.
The contrast between the fast-paced producer and the slow-working restorer creates an interesting dynamic. The Chinese drama I Live in Your Time also offers a fresh perspective amid the uniform trends of modern romance.
