Christian Sugiono and Titi Kamal Initially Only Contracted to Date for Five Months, Now Half Their Lifetime Together

For those who don't know, Tian and Titi started dating in 2009. During their relationship, they had a long-distance relationship between Indonesia and Germany for several years. They got married in January.

Tian himself has talked about several things about his past relationship with Titi when he was a guest on the show Ngopi Darat some time ago. His story is truly inspiring.

1. The Beginning of Dating Until 20 Years Together

If we count from dating to marriage, Tian and Titi have been together for 20 years. Therefore, the presenters of Ngopi Dara, Nia Ramadhani and Jessica Iskandar, are curious whether Tian has never turned away or felt bored.

"Well, I started dating after high school. Then, five months later, I had to go to Germany. So the intention was just to date for five months, as a contract. But it stuck. There's no one else I can look at. Ten years together, ten years married. I'm not even 40 yet, which means half of my life is with her," said Tian, making everyone amazed.

2. No Proposal Event

As mentioned earlier, before getting married, Tian and Titi dated for 10 years. When asked about the proposal, Tian apparently didn't have a romantic proposal event.

"Actually, it's because it was the right moment, after 10 years. It seemed like it was already too long. So we just got married in Australia, in Perth. I didn't do any proposing stuff. Because, you know, after 10 years of dating, it's just like walking together. So marriage is more about legalizing what we already have," Tian explained.

3. Long-lasting Recipe

Not only that, Tian admitted that there is no difference between dating and being married to Titi. He then explained one of the recipes to keep their relationship strong until now with his wife.

"I have a principle, what we went through while dating should not change after marriage. After marriage, there should be no limitations. A guy should have me time with his friends. When we're married, 'I'm a husband, I have to go everywhere with my wife', there's a burden on being a husband. That surprised people. So, I have a principle, well, marriage is just to legalize it according to the rules, but what has happened before should not change," he concluded.

Such a cool advice from Tian! Hopefully, they will stay together forever with Titi :)
