"Suddenly, I had a stomachache. Colic, which I had never felt in my entire life before. It was very painful," said Ari in his Youtube channel on Thursday (19/8).

1. Canceled Shooting

The shooting was canceled due to Ari's condition that was not possible. He was immediately taken to the hospital and had to be admitted.

"I was taken to the hospital. So the shooting that day was canceled and I was admitted to the hospital for 3 days," said Vita Dessy's husband.

After undergoing various examinations and observations, a tumor was found in Ari Lasso's abdomen. Surgery was then scheduled.

"After being admitted to the hospital, undergoing various observations, it turns out there is a problem in my stomach. A tumor. Hopefully it's not malignant, hopefully it's benign," said Ari Lasso.

2. Undergo Surgery

Interestingly, before the surgery, this 48-year-old musician still managed to shoot a delayed music video. "In three days, on the 20th, I will undergo surgery. So, before the surgery, we will do the shooting," explained Ari.

The surgery was then performed. Ari bid farewell and asked for prayers for the smooth running of his surgery.

"This afternoon there will be a significant procedure. Wish me luck. Thank you for the hopes and prayers since yesterday. Sorry I can't reply one by one," wrote Ari while uploading his photo ready to enter the operating room.

3. Out of the ICU

Three days after that, Ari announced that he had been discharged from the ICU. He stated that his condition was stable and continuing to improve.

"Since last night, I have returned to my room from the ICU. My condition is stable and improving after the surgery. Thank you so much for the support and prayers. I love u all. GOD bless," he expressed.

Ari Lasso's improving condition was well received by many people, including his loved ones. Many wrote prayers for Ari's speedy recovery in the comment section, from Anang Hermansyah to Maia Estianty.

Furthermore, Ari continued to update about his condition. He even took a photo with his stomach covered in bandages. In addition, he apparently wanted to go home but was not yet allowed by the doctor.

"I've already showered and my wife is already dressed up, but apparently I can't go home yet. Just go back to sleep," wrote the funny Ari Lasso. The post was flooded with comments from artists. Ariel Tatum even invited Ari to play online games.

Not even a day later, Ari Lasso was finally allowed to go home. He thanked all the doctors who had treated him.

"Let's go home. Thank you to all the doctors who treated me, Dr. Errawan @errwira and the surgical team, @prof.rinoagani and the team, all the funny nurses," Ari concluded.
