On August 21, 2023, Mirna Febryani visited Bareskrim Mabes Polri. She reported the alleged kidnapping of Ody Mulya Hidayat. It is not only related to that, but also the takeover of their son and embezzlement of marriage assets.

"So my report is not only about the kidnapping of Mr. Ody. But also about my child being taken and the embezzlement of assets," said Febry after making the report.

2. Go When Left to Buy Food

To the media, Mirna Febryani recounted the chronology of Ody Mulya Hidayat's kidnapping, which occurred on April 6, 2023. It is said that her husband was taken away from the apartment while she was buying food.

"At that time, I was buying food at the mall. Mr. Ody happened to be inside the unit, and I locked it from the outside. I went to buy food, and when I returned, the apartment door was half open and Mr. Ody was no longer there. I panicked. When I saw on the CCTV recording, there were his siblings. His older brother, younger brother, brother-in-law, and someone from the authorities," said Febry.

3. Report Delayed Four Months

Mirna Febryani said that she had reported the kidnapping of Ody Mulya Hidayat to the Jakarta Metro Police. However, the report was delayed for more than four months and was subsequently transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters.

"The report was delayed for more than four months at the Jakarta Metro Police, that's why it was transferred here. The report has been received," said Febry.

4. Go on Your Own Initiative

The allegation of Ody Mulya Hidayat's kidnapping was debunked by the producer's confession. It turns out that when he was taken away from the apartment unit, he was the one who asked his family.

When his wife went out to buy food, Ody found out that his family wanted to meet. That's when the idea to leave the apartment emerged.

"One time when his wife was out, the security called Ody's unit and said, 'Mr. Ody, your brother is downstairs.' Instantly, Ody took the initiative. This was his chance to leave. Ody went down, and no one in the apartment was allowed to go up to the unit unless authorized by the unit owner. CCTV footage showed Ody struggling to get out," said Rusda Mawardi, Ody's lawyer, as quoted from Detikcom.

5. Feeling Held Hostage by His Wife

Furthermore, it was revealed that Ody Mulya Hidayat had been treated unpleasantly by his wife. He had long wanted to return to his parents' house, but his wife did not allow it.

"Mr. Ody asked, 'Take me to my parents' house.' But he was not allowed, the family was not allowed to come. Basically, it was not allowed. Ody described it as being 'held hostage'," explained Rusda.
