Purwandi, who is Maxime Bouttier's uncle, recounted the story of his younger sister's death, Siti Purwanti, on Sunday night, January 15, 2024. According to Purwandi, his sister had been suffering from heart disease for a long time.

"He has been sick for quite a long time, has undergone heart surgery to install a ring in his heart. Yesterday, his condition was already very severe," said Purwandi after the funeral at TPU Jeruk Purut, South Jakarta, Monday (15/1/2024).

Not only suffering from heart disease, the deceased also suffered from kidney disease. And gradually the disease she experienced became worse. In fact, the late Siti has undergone dialysis, but it failed.

"Finally, it affected the kidneys and she had to undergo dialysis. But the dialysis failed and her illness worsened," he said.

Although suffering from a serious illness, the late Siti said Purwandi was willing if called by God. That's why she chose to go home instead of being treated at the hospital.

"He was very sincere, he was willing to let go of all his equipment when being treated at the hospital. He kept asking to go home, and our family brought the deceased home," he said.

Apparently, Maxime Bouttier and his family agreed to bring Siti Purwanti to be treated at Luna Maya's house. After two nights at Luna Maya's house, Siti Purwanti passed away on Sunday, around 19:15 WIB.

"Then she passed away at Luna Maya's house. Indeed, Mba Luna offered to stay at her house. She stayed at the hospital for almost a week. At Luna's house, she stayed for about two days," he said.

For Purwandi, the deceased was a very special person in the eyes of the family. Moreover, despite suffering from a relatively severe illness, the deceased never once complained.

"He never complained, he was very special, we really miss him. He was sincere, he accepted it, even yesterday he said, 'Well, if I can't be cured anymore, what should we do? Let's go home, I want to be at home,'" he concluded.
