Chronology of the Death of Oki Setiana Dewi's Father, Suddenly Passed Away - Family Initially Unaware

Kapanlagi.com - The departure of Sulyanto bin Sastro Wartoyo was a shock to Oki Setiana Dewi and her family. Because the night before, Sulyanto was still fine and had dinner with his wife before going to sleep.

No one expected that Sulyanto would pass away in his sleep. His last breath was not known by the family, only discovered in the morning.

"Because our mother has an autoimmune disease, her condition is weak. So she chooses to sleep in a separate room. Papa was estimated to have passed away at night, without anyone knowing. In the morning, when our mother came to the room, Papa's condition was already cold," said Oki when met during her father's funeral process at Ponpes Daarul Quran, Tangerang, Friday (4/6).

1. Heart Disease

The cause of Sulyanto's death is estimated to be due to a long-standing illness. It is known that Oki and Ria Ricis' father suffered from heart disease and high blood pressure.

"Actually, Papa was fine. In the morning, around 8 o'clock on Friday, my mother contacted us (to inform) that Papa had become cold," said Oki.

"Papa had just returned from his hometown and was resting at Ricis' house. Alhamdulillah, initially Papa was planning to go back to Batam because he had work there. Alhamdulillah, Papa decided not to go back to Batam. When my mother called, we immediately sent an ambulance and took him to the hospital. The doctor said Papa had passed away a few hours ago," he continued.

2. No Premonition

Before his father passed away, Oki did not feel any premonition. There were also no symptoms of the illness he had been suffering from.

"There were no signs at all. My parents were staying at Ricis' house. Cindy and I were staying at our respective homes. Last night, it was only my mother and the housekeeper because Ricis was in Flores. Until now, we haven't been able to contact Ricis because there is no signal," Oki said while crying.
