The friendship between Paula Verhoeven and Tya Ariestya seems to be getting stronger. Not only are they united on the padel court, but they also often spend time together hunting for culinary delights, especially street food.

One of their favorite destinations lately has been the Blok M area, which is indeed known as a paradise for night culinary. Paula admitted that her visit to Blok M with Tya was to look for new ideas and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

"Actually, it’s more about not having any ideas left, you know. This is actually the second time, right?" said Paula Verhoeven when met in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (9/11/2025).

Tya Ariestya added that their shared hobby of eating is the main reason they often go on culinary adventures together.

"He really loves to eat, and I also love to eat. So we like to look for places like that, the closest ones, right?" Tya added.

For them, enjoying snacks at the food court is not just about taste, but also a way to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

"Besides, if we go to food court places like that, we are also helping MSMEs," Tya explained.

They tried various types of food, from noodles, fried rice, to a variety of drinks and viral donuts. "It's really fun because we really like viral food," said Paula.

However, their adventure didn't just stop at food. In between snacking, the two even playfully tried out the haunted house attraction there. "And we also went to the ghost place. Oh yes, we went to the ghost train," Tya revealed.

"Yeah, I thought the ghost was just like that, but it turns out it might have followed us, which made us scared," recalled Paula, who admitted to crying out of fear.

These exciting and spontaneous moments are what strengthen the friendship between Paula Verhoeven and Tya Ariestya, whether while exercising, hunting for food, or just playfully looking for entertainment.
