Collapsed Until Brain Shaken During Warm-Up Session at Mandalika Circuit, Marc Marquez Confirmed Not Racing

Kapanlagi.com - Ahead of the MotoGP race in Mandalika, Sunday (20/3), Repsol Honda's flagship racer, Marc Marquez, is confirmed absent. This is due to Marquez's unfit condition.

It is known that a serious incident occurred when Marc Marquez was in the warm-up session at the Mandalika Circuit on Sunday morning. When entering turn 7 in the last minute of the warm-up session, Marquez miscalculated and was thrown off his bike.

1. Experience Brain Concussion

After undergoing examination, the owner of eight MotoGP championship titles was diagnosed with a brain concussion.

Before falling, Marquez was in second position during the warm-up session with only two minutes left. Unfortunately, the rear tire of his motorcycle slipped as he started to enter turn 7.

2. Thrown into the Air

Trying to balance his motorcycle, Marquez instead was thrown into the air. After landing on the ground, Marquez immediately tried to stand up.

However, he seemed confused until the medical team came to him. He was then immediately taken to the hospital.

3. Experience Four Accidents

Trying hard to test the new track at the Mandalika Circuit, this incident was not the first time experienced by Marquez. Previously, he had already had one accident during the second free practice session (FP2), two accidents in Qualifying 1 (Q1), and one accident in WUP.

In total, Marquez has experienced four accidents at the Mandalika Circuit.

4. Regrettable Absence

Of course, Marquez's absence is quite regrettable, especially for Marquez fans from Indonesia who came all the way to Mandalika Circuit to watch their racing hero.
