Considered Offensive to the Good Name of the Family, Atta Halilintar Receives a Harsh Rebuke from His Uncle

Kapanlagi.com - Podcast Helmy Yahya with Atta Halilintar some time ago apparently made one side of Atta's family speak up. His uncle, known as Febrian, reprimanded his nephew to watch his words. 

Previously, in Helmy Yahya's vlog, Atta talked about the relationship between his mother's family, Langgogeni Faruk, and his father's family, Halilintar Anofial Asmid. In it, Atta talked about the economic differences between his father's and mother's families.

Atta briefly mentioned that his mother came from a wealthy family, while his father was from an ordinary background. However, behind that, there is an interesting story about his father who managed to win his mother's heart. 

"But the amazing thing is, my father was able to win my mother over. They both got scholarships to UI (University of Indonesia) and met each other there. And when they met in Riau, my grandfather, my father's father, was just an ordinary person, so in my father's words, my father wasn't judged based on family and economic background," said Atta Halilintar, as quoted from Helmy Yahya's vlog. 

1. Don't Look Down on Others

Statement from Atta Halilintar regarding his family lineage apparently mentioned his family. And because of that, his uncle gave him a reprimand to be humble and not belittle others.

"On this occasion, as a parent, I want to reprimand and advise Atta Halilintar to watch his words, to be more humble, and not to belittle others," said Atta Halilintar's uncle.

2. Not Based on Facts

Furthermore, he also mentioned that Atta Halilintar's words often do not align with the facts in his family. And he emphasized to Atta not to be arrogant and look down on others.

"Atta mentioned something related to our parents, to my father, that is not in line with the facts," he said. 

 "Remember, Atta Halilintar, I want to give you advice as a parent. Let's never be arrogant, but appreciate others, especially your family and parents," he continued.
