Continuation of Trial, Reza Did Not Receive a Warning from the Legal Council

Lately, there have been quite a few local celebrity names involved in drug cases. Just like Reza Bukan who is still undergoing trial process.
A continuation of the drug case involving Reza Bukan was held at the West Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (09/01). This trial was scheduled for testimony from the defendant's side.
Arriving at the courthouse, Reza appeared with a prison vehicle. The man walked confidently wearing a white shirt and black pants. In addition, a pair of glasses adorned his face.
Unfortunately, the trial had to be postponed again. The reason for this was the absence of an expert witness, a doctor from the National Narcotics Agency of DKI Jakarta.
This is the second time the trial has been postponed. Because of that, the Legal Council also issued a warning to Reza Bukan. If the defendant fails to bring expert witnesses, the trial will proceed directly to the prosecution agenda.
"Last chance on January 23, 2019, if he doesn't do anything, we consider that the defendant is not exercising his right to present mitigating witnesses," said the chief judge.
Sahrudin, Reza's legal representative, explained that the absence of expert witnesses was due to technical issues with the letter. "Because of technical issues with correspondence, we should have invited them today, but because they were unable to attend, it will be about two weeks before they can come," he said.
Previously, as known, Reza Bukan was apprehended by officers for a drug case at his residence, Casa Jardin Housing, Kedaung Kali Angke, Cengkareng, West Jakarta on June 30, 2018.
