Continuing to Hold Stand Up Comedy Show Titled Komoidoumenoi, Pandji Pragiwaksono Mentions the Late Glenn Fredly as Inspiration

Kapanlagi.com - Pandji Pragiwaksono ensures that the stand-up comedy show titled Komoidoumenoi will still be held on December 29, despite the ongoing pandemic. The show, which will take place in several cities, will adhere to the COVID-19 protocol.

“If seven cities are scheduled for this year, another 13 cities will be visited next year. The timing depends on the decision of each city. If they have granted permission, it means we are ready,” said Pandji Pragiwaksono during a virtual press conference on Wednesday (19/6).

Makassar, Denpasar, Balikpapan, and Palu will be the cities that Pandji will visit in November, followed by Yogyakarta, Banda Aceh, and Jakarta. Jakarta will be the last city to conclude his performances this year on December 20 at Istora Senayan.

“Jakarta is the seventh city out of seven for this year. It is not our responsibility to ensure that, it is the authority of the decision makers. Our responsibility is to prepare as best as possible until we obtain permission,” said Pandji.

He also explained that his team has collaborated with several parties to ensure that the performance is held according to COVID-19 protocols. Not only that, Pandji admitted that the organizers have provided security technology for the prevention of the COVID-19 virus that is still affecting the country.

"We have an assessment through 10 questions. From there, we can read the risk factors of this person," he said.

For the implementation of COVID-19 protocols, Pandji is also collaborating with BEM FKM UI and he believes that this collaboration can make the event safe according to the applicable health protocols. According to Pandji, the details of the protocols implemented have not been released yet, but if it is necessary to reduce the number of spectators, Pandji is ready.

2. Glenn Fredly Becomes Motivation

In addition, Pandji also mentioned his reason for continuing to hold Komoidoumenoi. Apparently, it was because the late Glenn Fredly became his own motivation. According to Pandji, Glenn has entertained people, especially through his music during the pandemic.

"I tell jokes. What is my role? Yes, that. Telling jokes, to get permission to tell jokes. When it happens, I hope they laugh, their immune system increases," he concluded.
