MasterChef Indonesia Season 11 has ended after the grand final episode aired on Saturday-Sunday, November 25-26, 2023. Belinda was crowned the champion of MasterChef Indonesia (MCI) Season 11, defeating Kiki as the runner-up. However, Belinda's victory has sparked controversy as netizens believe that Kiki was more deserving of the title.
Both Belinda and Kiki shared their experiences during the final round. For Belinda, the biggest pressure she faced during the competition was cooking in the final round.
"That was the biggest pressure I experienced throughout the competition. It was nerve-wracking. Usually, it's crowded, and suddenly it's just the two of us," said Belinda when interviewed in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (11/29/2023).
Meanwhile, Kiki expressed the difficulties she faced in the cooking challenge during the grand final. Nevertheless, she felt that she had given her best in front of the judges.
"There are many. But the main thing is that we have tried our best. Whatever the result, we accept it as it is. If that's the result, then so be it. We will show it through our work," said Kiki.
Both finalists have plans to open their own restaurant after the competition ends. Kiki hopes to make it happen soon.
"As for me, I want it as soon as possible. Just waiting for the right time and timing," said Kiki.
"There are plans, but maybe not this year. It's still too close, so we need to think it through carefully," added Belinda.
Belinda also plans to continue her studies and explore Indonesia after her victory in MasterChef Indonesia Season 11.
"I want to finish my studies and travel around Indonesia. I want to get to know chefs from all over Indonesia," Belinda concluded.
