Cooperative, Arief Muhammad Ready to Return Money from Porsche Sale to Doni Salmanan

Kapanlagi.com - Youtuber Arief Muhammad stated that he will be cooperative in helping investigators fully investigate the Quotex application fraud case with suspect Doni Salmanan. Even Arief stated that he is ready if investigators ask him to return the money from the sale of his Porsche car to Doni Salmanan.

"There has been no discussion towards that direction (returning the money). But as a good citizen, I am very cooperative with whatever is needed by the investigators. We believe the investigators are professional and fair," said Arief Muhammad at the Bareskrim Polri building, Thursday (17/3).

Arief Muhammad was also involved in the case that ensnared Doni Salmanan because he had sold a Porsche car to Doni Salmanan for Rp 4 billion.

As a witness, he was also questioned by the police. "During the interrogation, as predicted, we only talked about the sale and purchase of the car," said Arief.

2. Ready to Undergo Examination

Still according to Arief, he stated that he is ready to undergo further examination if the investigators still need his statement.

"There was no talk about another summons, but whenever it is needed, I am ready to assist in this investigation," he said.

3. Suspect in Fraud Case

As we know, Doni Salmanan has been named a suspect in the Quotex application fraud case on Tuesday (8/3/2022).

For his actions, Doni is charged with multiple articles with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, including Article 45 paragraph 1 juncto 28 paragraph 1 of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law, Article 378 of the Criminal Code, and Article 3 paragraph 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 regarding Money Laundering Crimes.

4. Investigating Recipients of Fund Flow

Currently, the police are intensively investigating individuals who have received funds from Doni Salmanan, including Atta Halilintar who fulfilled his promise to return the luxury bag given by Doni Salmanan to the investigators of Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri.

Atta returned the bag during his questioning on Thursday (17/3/2022). "I have returned the bag," said Atta Halilintar after being questioned.

5. Initiative to Return Gifts

It is known that Atta Halilintar received a gift from Doni Salmanan on his 27th birthday last November. At that time, Doni Salmanan, who is dubbed as the crazy rich of Bandung, gave Atta a branded Dior bag as a gift.

After Doni Salmanan was declared a suspect and the police requested anyone who had received gifts in the form of goods or money to report, Atta then made a statement on his Instagram account.

"I once received a birthday gift from Mas Doni Salmanan, this bag. I will immediately return it to the authorities," wrote Atta on his Instagram account on Wednesday (16/3).
