Creating Songs Through Zoom and Voice Note, Maudy Ayunda Collaborates with Danilla Riyadi for the Soundtrack of 'LOSMEN BU BROTO'

Kapanlagi.com - Maudy Ayunda and Danilla Riyadi were chosen to star in the film LOSMEN BU BROTO, which is an adaptation of a popular 80s television series. Not only acting, but they also secretly collaborated to sing several songs for the film directed by Ifa Isfansyah and Eddie Cahyono.

"Danilla and I play as a band in this film, and we brought that into real life. So the songs that will be heard in this film are indeed made by us. There will be several songs that we were involved in, that we produced," said Maudy as quoted by KapanLagi.com during a virtual conference via Zoom on Monday (18/10/2021).

When working on the songs for LOSMEN BU BROTO, Maudy and Danilla were separated by the distance between Indonesia and the United States. However, that did not hinder them from producing outstanding works.

"The production of these songs took place before the shooting, at that time I was still in the US. The process was all online, which was very different because not meeting in person was difficult," added the twenty-six-year-old woman.

During the song production, Maudy Ayunda and Danilla Riyadi intensively contacted each other through zoom meetings and voice notes. From those voice notes, these two musicians with different characters in the local music scene asked for each other's advice.

"We exchanged voice notes. There was one song that I composed, then Danilla gave input and we conveyed it to the producer. Then there was another song with Danilla's composition that needed my input," explained Maudy.

That's how the work system goes, through zoom, voice notes, and finally, we can find the same vision and stitch everything together," added the singer of the song Cinta Datang Terlambat.

In the film LOSMEN BU BROTO, Maudy is trusted to portray the character of Jeng Sri, the second child of Bu Broto. Not only conflicted with her mother, Jeng Sri also has problems with Mbak Pur. The excitement of this film can be enjoyed in theaters starting from November 18th.
