Criticism from Leslar Fans for Imitating Rizky Billar, Gilang Dirga: Let's Meet in Person

Kapanlagi.com - Presenter Gilang Dirga recently revealed the numerous hate messages he received in his Instagram account. These messages were sent by fans of Rizky Billar and Lesti, known as Leslar.

The reason for the hate messages is because Gilang tried to imitate Billar in a TV program. Fans who were unhappy with their idol being parodied attacked him with inappropriate words.

"There are DMs insulting me. I tried to explain in my own way that what I did was not meant to insult. The impersonation I did should be carefully considered. Besides, I've been doing it for several years, not recently. Yesterday, I was just being playful, had nothing to do, so I explained it, but apparently, they didn't get it," said Gilang, met in the Kapten Tendean area, Thursday (3/9/2020).

1. Challenging to Meet

Gilang Dirga once opened a question on Insta Story for Leslar fans to tell the reason for bullying. However, the answers received were not logical.

Furthermore, Gilang challenged the person who bullied to say it directly in front of him. So that he could explain that what he did was only for entertainment purposes.

"Come on, try to come in person so I can explain. In the sense that I will tell you this, it's like this. If you still don't understand, then you're made of stone," he said.

2. Ending with an Apology

Although challenging to meet face to face, Gilang is skeptical that they dare to meet. Because as experienced by other public figures, these fans will surely end up apologizing.

"They don't understand the impact or effects of bullying. Because it's like this, I follow an artist, the artist is just normal, laughing, but the fans are the ones who make a fuss and bully others. The impact of bullying is dangerous, to the point that some people commit suicide because they can't handle it mentally. And then when we try to fight back, all they can do is apologize. So try to put yourself in that person's position before talking about others," Gilang said.
