After being questioned at the Jakarta Metro Police on Wednesday (8/6), Mayang revealed the truth behind her case. She admitted that she was asked to review the skincare product by her own father, Doddy Sudrajat.
"Actually, it was my dad who asked me to review it from the beginning. I tried to refuse to review it, but my dad insisted that I should review it," said Mayang.
She admitted that she had planned to use the product first before giving a review. However, her father insisted that she should review it first.
"Actually, I haven't used the product yet, I was just about to try it, but my dad said to review it right away. I felt bad for my dad, so I followed his request," said Mayang.
Because of this, Mayang regrets her decision. In the future, she will not follow her father's request if there are any collaborations with other products.
"It's a lesson for me, next time I won't do this again," she said.
"There will definitely be regrets and fears," added Mayang.
