Nicholas Sean Purnama is known as the son of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and Veronica Tan. This man is affectionately called Sean.

In an interview with Detik.com, he decided that he will never get married in his lifetime. This is also written in his journal 'Justification of Isolated Living'.

He said he is comfortable living alone, related to the Stoic philosophy he adheres to, which is to focus on what can be controlled. According to him, marriage is not part of that.

"I don't want to get married because I don't want to add burden. I feel that family is a responsibility extension, which if I fail, everyone will be affected," said Sean quoted from Detik.com (26/11).

Until now, Sean continues to maintain his relationship with his father even though Ahok already has a new family.

At a young age, Sean already has a coffee shop and clothing brand business. He is also active on YouTube and is currently studying at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia.
