As we know, becoming a convert is not easy, especially if the person comes from a country that is not familiar with Muslim life. Answering Atta Halilintar's question, Katty Butterfly admitted that she has been interested in Islam for 6 years.

She emphasized that this decision was made on her own will, without any coercion from anyone, including her boyfriend, Aiman Ricky. Until finally, Atta became curious about how Katty's family in Thailand reacted.

"What does Katty's family think? Does Katty have a family, and how do they respond? Did you tell your parents?" asked Atta Halilintar.

Katty Butterfly answered, "Before I converted, it was about a month or two, I called my mom first. I said, 'Mom, what if I want to become a Muslim?'. And my mom said, 'What is a Muslim? Is it the one who covers their head?'. She didn't understand what a Muslim was, so she asked like that."

"And I said yes. 'Yes, as long as you're happy, just go for it', my mom said that. Then when I converted, I immediately video called her and told her I had become a Muslim. Her response was, 'Okay, as long as all religions are good. The important thing is that you're happy'. She just wanted to see me happy, and she never asked why (I changed religions), never," she added.

2. Already Memorized Pillars of Faith & Islam

Meanwhile, Aiman Ricky himself revealed that his girlfriend has even memorized the pillars of Islam and the pillars of faith, "Very fast (learning), very fast. She already knows the pillars of Islam, memorized Katty. She already knows the pillars of faith, and Al-Fatihah is already quite good with 6 verses. Awesome!"

Hearing this, Atta was immediately amazed and completely unsuspecting. "Wow, extraordinary. Just hearing this gives me goosebumps. Because when guidance comes, it feels like the heart is at peace, like someone wants to convert to Islam," said Atta.
