Deddy Corbuzier's First Eid in the Midst of a Pandemic: No Problem

Kapanlagi.com - This year, 2020, is the first Eid for Deddy Corbuzier after deciding to convert to Islam in 2019. And his first Eid this time is accompanied by the corona pandemic, which forces everyone to stay at home for a while. 

As is known, since the pandemic, the government has advised against traveling and staying at home for this year's Eid. Nevertheless, Deddy Corbuzier said that it is not a problem to only celebrate Eid at home. 

1. Lebaran Bersama Kekasih

Through his personal Instagram, Deddy Corbuzier uploaded the moment of celebrating Eid with his lover, Sabrina Chairunnisa, and his assistant. 

"The ketupat has been cut. The opor is ready to be served. The nastar is ready on the table. PSBB is in effect. No problem.. The problem is when the world is without forgiveness. Taqobalallahu minna wa minkum Minal aidin walfaizin, please forgive me, both in appearance and in the heart," Deddy Corbuzier wrote on his Instagram, Sunday (24/5/2020). 

2. Decided to Convert to Islam

This is the first Eid and Ramadan moment for Deddy Corbuzier after converting to Islam in June 2019. The former husband of Kalina Oktarany declared himself as a Muslim under the guidance of his spiritual teacher, Gus Miftah. 

Before deciding to convert, Deddy's feelings were in turmoil. However, he admitted that he felt relieved and proud to have embraced Islam because he followed his heart. 

"I feel free, happy, proud, very happy, and at peace because I have been in turmoil for so long. I feel at peace and I never expected that I would receive so much support from my friends," said Deddy Corbuzier.
