Denada Changes Name Shakira to Aisha, Flood of Prayers for Speedy Recovery from Cancer

Kapanlagi.com - Denada recently revealed that she has changed her daughter's name from Shakira to Aisha. She shared this news directly using the Tik Tok application, which she then uploaded on her Instagram account on February 14, 2020.

In the video, Shakira can be seen playing the viral application. She also displayed several name options, including Shakira, Shaki, Aurum, and Kira. And finally, the choice fell on Aisha.

Since then, Denada has introduced Shakira's new name, which is now Aisha. "Hellooooo my “AISHA"," Denada wrote in her Instagram post a while ago.

1. Reasons for Denada Changing Name to Shakira

According to insertlive.com, Denada changed Shakira's name to Aisha after careful consideration. She also mentioned that this name was suggested by her mother, Emilia Contessa.

"Actually, I never had any thoughts about changing the name. Shakira is fine. I'm also happy with its meaning. But, honestly, this idea came from my mother," said Denada.

"My mother asked, 'Would you like to try changing her name?' I didn't really understand, maybe it's a common tradition in Java. My mother said let's try changing the name," she continued.

2. Prayers for Shakira's Quick Recovery

Denada's post and the name change from Shakira to Aisha received a lot of positive responses from netizens. They are also happy with Shakira's new name.

They also pray that by changing her name to Aisha, the beautiful 7-year-old girl can recover from her illness soon and be able to play like other children.

Shakira, or Aisha, is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore. As known, Shakira herself has been undergoing treatment and several therapies for over a year.
