Denise Chariesta has once again caught the public's attention after deciding to report Detective Doctor alias Doktif to the South Jakarta Metro Police. This decision was made after she felt slandered by the accusation of receiving Rp100 million to be a buzzer.

The report was made on Sunday, February 16, 2025, based on defamation. Doktif is suspected of spreading the accusation through a comment on TikTok, which was then deleted before Denise could respond.

Denise not only denied receiving the money, but also expressed her anger because her child was dragged into this issue. She emphasized that she would take this case to the legal route to serve as a lesson for those spreading slander.

This case started from a statement by Doktif on social media accusing Denise of receiving a payment of Rp100 million from someone with the initials "R" to become a buzzer. This accusation was mentioned in a comment on Denise's TikTok account.

Denise feels harmed by this statement because she claims that she does not know the figure "R" at all. In fact, she even mentioned several names with the initials "R" sarcastically to highlight the ambiguity of the accusation.

"I don't know who the initial R is, Razman? Ria Ricis? Reza Gladys? Who does that mean, speak clearly," Denise said in an annoyed tone.

Feeling that her reputation was tarnished, Denise immediately took legal action by reporting Doktif to the South Jakarta Metro Police. In her report, Denise cited Article 27 paragraph 3 in conjunction with Article 45 of the ITE Law regarding defamation.

In her statement to reporters, Denise expressed that she wanted Doktif to be held accountable for his words. She also challenged Doktif to prove the accusations he made.

"I filed a report because your words are slander. So you can learn that when you speak, it should be based on evidence. Where's the evidence that I received 100 million rupiah, can you prove it?" said Denise.

3. Doktif's Insinuation Towards Denise Chariesta's Child

Besides the accusations regarding the buzzer, Denise became increasingly angry after her son, Jaden Bowen Yap, was dragged into the issue. Doktif was said to have made a statement that Denise gave her child milk from unlawful money.

Denise firmly denied the accusation and stated that her child is still being breastfed, not given the milk mentioned in the slander.

"Bringing my child into this as a joke, 'buying his (milk) with unlawful money,' is my child, did I give him pig's milk? No. My child is breastfed. And you should be a bit smarter as a doctor," Denise asserted.

4. Denise's Response After the Police Report

After reporting Doktif, Denise did not hesitate to upload a video that sarcastically responded to the accusation. In the video, she stated that she had visited the police station and was ready to face Doktif legally.

Denise also mentioned Doktif's previous statement challenging her to meet at a meatball stall. She responded in her characteristic style.

"Hey, Doktif, I've already visited (the police station), you said you wanted to meet at the meatball stall. Look, I've been here. But today I don't want to eat meatballs because I'm on a diet," Denise quipped.

5. Potential Penalties Faced by Doktif

Denise's report has been received by the police, and Doktif has been charged with defamation under the ITE Law. If found guilty, he faces a two-year prison sentence.

However, up to now, there has been no official response from Doktif regarding the report. The public is also waiting for the continuation of this case, whether it will end peacefully or truly be processed in court.
