Denying Escape, Lawyer Says Ahmad Dhani's Family Quarantined in Private Villa

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, it was reported that Ahmad Dhani, Mulan Jameela, and their family did not undergo quarantine after traveling from Turkey.

However, this was immediately denied by Ahmad Dhani's lawyer, Ali Lubis. He stated that Ahmad Dhani's family followed the government regulations for quarantine.

“Of course, they followed (the quarantine) according to the regulations set by the government. As stated in the regulations (10 days of quarantine),” said Ali Lubis when contacted on Monday (13/12).

Ali Lubis stated that Ahmad Dhani's family underwent quarantine in a private villa. However, he is not sure if they are still undergoing quarantine or if it has already finished.

“The latest information I received is that they are in a private villa. I don't know exactly if they are still in quarantine or if it has already finished,” he explained.

2. Police Statement

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Pol E Zulpan, explained the quarantine process carried out by Ahmad Dhani's family in accordance with the circular issued by the Covid-19 Task Force.

According to him, there was no violation of quarantine by Ahmad Dhani's family. Because they received benefits as state officials.

3. For State Officials

“Home quarantine is only given to state officials, because we know that one of their family members is an official. Ahmad Dhani's wife is a member of the Indonesian Parliament. This falls under the category that qualifies for home quarantine, so it is implemented,” explained Zulpan to the media at the Jakarta Metro Police, Monday (13/12).

4. Quarantine Convenience

“In quarantine, there are rules, including for government officials. The Covid task force does not provide quarantine facilities, but there are applicable regulations that we must follow in accordance with the coordination of the Covid task force,” he concluded.
