The nervousness didn't go away until the officiator said the word "Official", as a sign that he had become Sheila Dara's husband. He was grateful that the marriage vows went smoothly without any obstacles because of his nervousness.

"The nervousness reached its peak, I couldn't hear the recitation anymore because I memorized the marriage vows. Thank God it went smoothly, and when it was declared official, the feeling of nervousness immediately disappeared, I felt happy, relieved," said Vidi Aldiano.

In addition, Sheila Dara Aisha also explained about the selection of their wedding date. Apparently, there is no special meaning, they only adjusted to the empty date of the makeup artist (MUA) she liked because Dara really wanted to be made up by that MUA.

Not only that, Vidi Aldiano also emphasized that he and his wife do not believe in auspicious dates for weddings.

"(The reason is) I really want to be made up by this MUA, and it turns out that the 15th is available. So, it's okay," said Sheila Dara.

"Both of us don't believe in auspicious dates," added Vidi Aldiano.

Vidi Aldiano married Sheila Dara Aisha by giving a dowry in the form of USD 1,000 and 501 pounds sterling. Certainly, this dowry has its own meaning for Vidi Aldiano.

In a virtual press conference held on Saturday (15/1), Vidi explained the meaning of the dowry. Apparently, the dowry was chosen from two countries where Vidi Aldiano had previously studied, while the amount itself was adjusted to their wedding date.

"According to the date of the wedding, these two currencies are the places where I studied," said Vidi Aldiano.

"The important thing is that the form of the dowry is beautiful. The color of the dollar is made to look like flowers," continued Vidi.
