Desta Creates the Song 'Ndoaksin' as a Special Tribute to the Late Dono and Kasino

Desta is not only acting as an actor in the latest Warkop DKI project but also contributing his creativity in music. He has just introduced a song titled Ndokasin, created specifically as the theme song or Original Sound Track (OST).

The song was born spontaneously from an idea of Desta while he was spending his free time on set. The father of three crafted lyrics taken from snippets of iconic dialogues from Dono, Kasino, and Indro during their work.

"I was just messing around playing guitar, looking for lyrics ending in A. It turned out when I got the melody and made the lyrics, I thought it sounded really good," said Desta when met at XXI Epicentrum Kuningan, South Jakarta, Saturday (23/05/2026).

More than just a humorous song, NDOKASIN has a deep meaning for Desta personally. Through its lyrics, he wants to convey the message about the importance of appreciating togetherness while our loved ones are still by our side.

Desta feels emotional when realizing that now Kasino and Dono are no longer with us, leaving Indro as the only original member. This is what underlies the creation of the emotional verses about a farewell. "There are some words, there are lyrics that I made like this togetherness we enjoy together. Because Uncle Kasino and Uncle Dono are no longer here, heeh," said Desta.

The atmosphere of emotion was palpable as Desta recounted the process of creating those lyrics. He emphasized that the togetherness among friends is something very precious and should be enjoyed as long as time still allows.

"The three of us are friends, but eventually, one has to leave. Well, enjoy the time while it lasts. Oh, I'm sad now. We're still friends," he said.

Tora Sudiro also gave his response regarding the song by his friend. According to Tora, this song successfully captures the essence of Warkop DKI, which is simple yet has a very strong character in the hearts of the public.

"At first glance, 'Ndokasin' does sound light and humorous. But that's where its strength lies. This song captures the essence of Warkop's simplicity, spontaneity, but with a strong character," said Tora Sudiro.

The film Warkop DKI Viralin DOoOong..!! is scheduled to greet audiences in cinemas across Indonesia starting June 11, 2026.
