Dian Pelangi Shares Last Memories with Barli Asmara, Having Dinner Together Before Moving to Bali

Kapanlagi.com - Dian Pelangi who felt the loss of Barli Asmara forever on Thursday (27/8/2020) recalled her last moments with the designer. The woman born on January 14, 1991 shared a series of short videos of herself attending a farewell dinner event held by Barli Asmara before moving to Bali on her Instagram story.

Collaborating on various projects including the Muslim fashion label Pelangi Asmara, Dian Pelangi and Barli Asmara became close to each other. Therefore, Dian Pelangi was included in the guest list for the dinner event held on July 14, 2020.

"July 14, 2020, the last time I met Kak Barli.. Farewell dinner before Kakak moved to Bali," wrote Dian Pelangi on her Instagram story.

1. Almost Didn't Come

Located at Barli Asmara's residence, Dian Pelangi herself did not expect that this moment would be the last time she met the 42-year-old man. Dian also admitted that she had thought about not attending the invitation because she was heavily pregnant, plus the ongoing pandemic.

"Jakarta, July 14, 2020. Farewell night before my brother left for Bali. He held a dinner at his house. I had thought about not attending because I was 8 months pregnant and there was a pandemic. But my husband and I decided to visit.. I didn't expect this to be our last meeting," said the owner of the full name Dian Wahyu Utami.

"I promised to visit the newborn, Rumi is already here, sis," she added.

2. Last Message

Furthermore, Dian also remembered the last message conveyed by Barli Asmara before leaving for Bali. Barli prayed for Dian's health and asked her to maintain their relationship despite the distance between them.

"My brother's last message, 'Take care.. we will always be together,'" she said.
