After the surgery, Melly admitted that she was not nervous at all because the doctors and their team were very friendly.

"Alhamdulillah, thanks to the blessings and permission of Allah SWT, and of course the prayers from all friends, my Bariatric surgery went smoothly. Alhamdulillah, I met the doctor's team in the operating room and they were all friendly, so I wasn't nervous at all.", she wrote in the caption.

She underwent this Bariatric surgery after reaching a plateau with her diet. "That's why I took this Bariatric step because even after a diet program and losing more than 25kg, I was still 35kg obese, and I couldn't lose any more weight. Meanwhile, my blood sugar was also high, and when blood sugar is high, appetite increases, so it's never-ending.", she added.

Melly is now healthy again, even though she can only drink water. It can be seen that the golden-voiced singer still gives herself encouragement even though she is still in bed.
