Different Look, Angelica Simperler Likes to Wear Wigs Again

Apparently, that is one of Angelica Simperler's ways to cover her hair which is currently having problems due to frequent styling.

“So, is this your real hair or a wig? Haha. It's a wig, you know, for women, if we don't style it, it's like having a bad hair day. (Using a wig) is just one of my tactics to cover it,” said Angelica Simperler when met at Senayan City, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (23/1).

“Because I'm currently (filming) a stripping scene, my hair is styled every day. So now, while it's like this, I can freely use my own hair for filming. But for events, it's a different story,” she continued.

Therefore, she now prefers to wear a wig when not shooting. In fact, the artist born on July 9, 1986, has started collecting several wigs. Because by wearing a wig, she doesn't need to spend a long time taking care of her hair.

"I'm currently trying to collect several wigs. Not the ones that have to be worn. Just like, I just like it besides taking care of my hair's health. It's just new (collection), I don't know how many. I'm a bit lazy to do makeup for hours. When I'm lazy, I just wear a wig with a hat to keep it simple. If I'm going somewhere, I adjust it to the event," she explained.

In addition, the reason she wears a wig is that she is not confident enough to dye her hair with bright colors. "I've dyed my hair before. But never anything too weird. Just colors that are not too far from normal. And if it's too bright, I'm also not brave enough. This is the only thing I want to try right now," said Angelica Simperler.

Although she actually wants to, there are still some things she's considering. "First, for the dyeing process like this, it seems like there has to be bleaching or something, and I'm afraid it will really damage my hair. And second, I'm afraid it won't fit in every situation, like if I need to shoot something or play a role, I'm afraid it won't fit," she concluded.
