"The year 2025 can be said to affect our household cash flow as well, because there are many shifts in trends from the entertainment world. Career-wise, I have no choice but to trade in the end. I'm not shy about selling," he said when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (30/12/2025).

This 43-year-old actor is now actively selling various items through live broadcasts on TikTok. From insurance to glasses priced very affordably at Rp25,000, he offers them without any shame to his followers.
"Oh come on, one item for Rp25,000. Isn't that cheap? Yellow basket, right?" he enthusiastically promoted.

Dennis admitted that he has been used to trading since he was in the 5th grade by selling used magazines. For him, looking for extra money outside of filming is a normal thing and needs to be done in the current uncertain economic conditions.

"Not a career shift, but more like having to sacrifice some activities. Like, for example, time to play games, time to go to the mall, we ended up sacrificing a lot to be able to sell from home," Dennis explained.

He is also inspired by fellow artists like Baim Wong who have successfully run businesses even though they are already established in the entertainment world. Dennis sees many artists who earn more from their side businesses compared to their filming fees.
"So for new actor friends or new filmmakers, don't hesitate to trade," he advised.

In the future, Dennis plans to become an affiliator for local brands and SMEs. He has a vision to support domestic products towards 100% Indonesian brands by 2026.
