Near-death itself in Islam is the process of separating the soul from the human body gradually. Dik Doank himself dreamed of near-death 9 times.
He mentioned that the near-death experience he had in his dreams was very painful. He also gave an analogy of what the pain felt like.
"It feels like putting durian in your stomach, using a towel forcefully pulled to the back of your head. Oh, it hurts so much!" said Dik Doank, interviewed at Rumah Goa, Ciputat, South Tangerang on Tuesday (9/8/2022) as quoted by Matamata.com
In addition to near-death experiences, he also had other dreams, such as being chased by the end of the world. He even felt like running for hours.
He experienced this incident in 1997. At that time, he was still 27 years old and eventually decided to change his life.
"Three years later, I immediately went on a pilgrimage. In a state of poverty, having no money is also not a problem," said Dik Doank.
He has now also left the entertainment world that has made his name. Dik Doank now spends more time taking care of nature school and getting closer to Allah.
"My desire, no longer have desires. So lead me according to what You want, I just obey," he concluded.
